Accessibility Statement

Subtle Mastery, Lda. is committed to making subtlemastery.com accessible, using as reference Portuguese Decree-Law 83/2018, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102, and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Although this law applies to public sector bodies, we adopt it voluntarily.

I. Compliance status

This site is compliant with WCAG 2.1, level AA, according to the self-assessment described below. No inaccessible content is known.

II. Preparation of this statement

Statement prepared on 15 October 2026, by self-assessment, covering all 12 pages of the site in Portuguese and English.

A. Automated evaluation. 15 October 2026, with axe-core 4.10, on all 12 pages, against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2, levels A and AA. Result: no errors.

B. Manual evaluation. 15 October 2026, on all 12 pages. We checked:

• full keyboard navigation, with focus always visible and a skip-to-content link;
• heading structure, the language of each page and text alternatives for images;
• text contrast, with a minimum of 6:1 against the background;
• content reflow at 320 pixels wide, with no horizontal scrolling;
• links that open in a new window are identified.

C. Usability tests with people with disabilities. Not yet carried out.

IV. Reporting discrimination

Portuguese Law 46/2006 prohibits and penalises discrimination on the grounds of disability. You can file a complaint with the National Institute for Rehabilitation (inr.pt).
